Other work

My work has appeared in the Guardian, New York Times, New Statesman, The Evening Standard, The FT, World of Interiors, ArtReview, Elephant, LitHub, and others, and I am a regular columnist for Feeld. For regular essays in your inbox, you can subscribe to my Substack here.

I teach fiction at leading organisations including Arvon, Faber Academy, Guardian Masterclasses, Literature Wales, UAL, and the University of Warwick.

I’m particularly interested in commissions and collaborations that straddle artistic disciplines, and work inspired by visual mediums. Previous commissions have included fictional texts as responses to artists and designers for inclusion in exhibitions, catalogues and publications, most recently for Paloma Proudfoot’s solo exhibition at Bosse & Baum, The Memory Theatre. I’ve worked with fashion brands such as Miista and The Outnet, as well as facilitating workshops on interdisciplinary writing and thought at London College of Fashion and London School of Architecture.
